  Binocular Eyes

Standing in a crowded club
No room to manoeuvre
Music banging in my eardrums
My eyes scan the dance floor

Passing glances over the dancers
My two left feet scream panic
Move away from the dancing
Feels the right thing to do

Walking back to my friends
I take my seat with a sigh
Talking a few words
Laughing and nodding when expected

People pass by our table
A shadow breezes past
Out of the corner of my eye
A dream shows her beauty

Shyly glancing in her direction
The wonder of talking to her scares me
My binocular eyes are on
There´s only the lady and me in the club
