  Lost Friend

Walking by the stores
In my hurry through life
Wanting away from the crowd
That surrounds every corner

Trying hard to avoid people
As a move between the crowd
Crying kids heard in the distance
That adds to my frustration

Wanting away from the nuisance
That this busy rush is creating for me
The inevitably bump into someone
Happens within a split second

Apologising scene begins in a hurry
The woman before me smiles
Familiarity reaches my senses
I´ve just found a lost friend
